The Poco M8 Power 5G is a newly launched smartphone aimed at users who want a large display, 5G connectivity, strong battery life and everyday performance in one device. With its combination of an AMOLED screen, Snapdragon processor and an 8,000mAh battery, the phone focuses heavily on entertainment and long-lasting usage.
The Poco M8 Power 5G was officially launched in India on August 4, 2026, with a starting price of ₹24,999. It is available with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
Large 120Hz AMOLED Display
One of the major highlights of the Poco M8 Power 5G is its 6.83-inch AMOLED display. The screen offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 × 2396 pixels and supports a 120Hz refresh rate, making scrolling, animations and supported games feel smoother.
The display also has a peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits, which can be useful when viewing content in bright surroundings. The phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and a punch-hole design for the front camera.
Snapdragon Processor and 5G Connectivity
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset. It features an octa-core processor with speeds of up to 2.3GHz and is built using a 4nm fabrication process. The Adreno 613 GPU handles graphics-related tasks.
For connectivity, the Poco M8 Power 5G supports both 4G and 5G networks. It also includes dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and an IR blaster. This makes the phone suitable for users who want modern connectivity options alongside 5G support.
8,000mAh Battery for Extended Usage
Battery life is another area where the Poco M8 Power 5G stands out. The phone packs a massive 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is considerably larger than what is commonly found in smartphones.
It also supports 45W fast charging, helping reduce the time required to recharge the large battery. For users who frequently stream videos, browse social media, use navigation or spend long hours away from a charger, the large battery can be particularly useful.
